I USED TO HATE JOURNALING.

In fact, it took me a solid 10 years to overcome my resistance to keeping a journal. But the data is undeniable: regular writing works wonders.

Putting thoughts on paper can change careers, mend relationships, and support mental health . Research proves that jotting down goals increases success by over 40%. Gratitude journaling is renowned for boosting happiness.

Yet, we hesitate. We start journals, then quit. (I've begun at least 5 in January, abandoned by March.)

Enter, MINE: a 3-month guided journey into the care ritual of Just Writing, to help you create a consistent journaling practice. Each month, you'll get a guidebook with a carefully crafted monthly theme, short weekly writing rituals, spacious journal prompts, and simple selected resources.

After your first 3 months (Season One), you'll be invited to continue with more Seasons, for up to a full year of self-care.

What does it mean to have something that's just for younot your children, partner, family, friends? In Month 1, we explore self-worth and self-care as a right instead of a reward. We examine self-care guiltnot as “normal” but, instead, as a common, conditioned response that we can unlearnand how that unlearning unleashes our power.

MONTH 2

NOTICE

We worry endlessly about spending time and moneybut there is perhaps no greater currency than attention. In Month 2, we focus to tangible ways to be more aware and present in everyday life.

MONTH 3

STILL

Our fast-paced world demands that we do more, more quickly, more often. We define who we are by what we accomplish. In Month 3, we stop sprinting to the finish lineand onto the next raceand we unearth the advantages of choosing stillness instead.

WHEN DOES THE MINE JOURNEY START?

MINE is consciously designed to be self-paced and flexible, so you can start anytime after you sign up. Once enrolled, you'll get an email confirming your purchase, and your first month's materials. You'll begin receiving your weekly reminders on Sunday, and future materials by email. 

HOW LONG IS MINE?

Because journaling effects are best seen and felt over time, MINE is designed as a one-year program, divided into four 3-month "seasons." Once you have Season 1, you'll have the option to get subsequent 3-month seasons (Seasons 2-4). 

HOW DOES MINE WORK?

Each month, you'll get a new MINE Guide: an organized digital download in PDF format, with everything you need for your weekly practice. Once you get your MINE guide, simply download it, print it out (or view online with a notebook handy), and then dive right in to the first ritual. We'll also send you weekly writing reminders to keep your care consistent. 

DO I HAVE TO DO THE JOURNAL PROMPTS BY HAND?

You can always type your answers or journal on a device. But I do strongly recommend that you print your monthly guides or at least use an electronic tablet pencil and complete your prompts by handour human brains tend to have easier access to creativity and emotion that way.

CAN I GET A REFUND IF MINE ISN'T A FIT FOR ME?

Because of the digital and downloadable nature of this experience, all purchases are non-refundable. Of course, you are not committed to renew or extend your experience after the initial 3-month period.

I HAVE A REALLY HECTIC LIFE. CAN I FIT JOURNALING INTO MY BUSY SCHEDULE?

The program is intentionally self-paced. It is clearly organized and designed with simplicity, to help anyone navigate it rather quicklyeven in a few minutes! But for the best experience, I will invite you, each week, to slow down for your self-care writing ritualfor more presence and productivity!

WILL I EVER LOSE ACCESS TO MINE?

No, you can save them! When you receive your materials by email, you can download or print them out and keep them indefinitely for your own personal educational use. The links to materials may, of course, change or be removed in the future, so we recommend you create your own copy.

WHAT IS THE RITUAL CARE WRITING CLUB?

MEET THE CREATOR—kelly newsome georges

There’s no greater feeling of happiness than knowing who you are. Learning to hear yourself - and fall in love with your life - comes only from the inside. You start to see that you have the power, the control, the choice. And that can change everything. 

Over a decade ago, I fell into the wellness world by accident. I was a burned-out business lawyer and eventually, all out of other options, I turned to self-care to help me heal. I later started a private yoga and wellness company to help other women lawyers find time for themselves (and as a birth and postpartum doula, I also helped them have their babies!). But soon, I saw a bigger problem than busyness: our collective idea of “wellness” — flooded with popular, ineffective self-care hacks and pricey products — is off-base. And that can make us feel worse, not better.

I started coaching, teaching classes, and creating an arsenal of conscious care techniques to help women stay sane in our chaotic world. Ever since, I've been obsessed with teaching other women that self-care is not a “treat,” but instead a tool that can help take care of every aspect of our lives. And it's available to us all.
